Text2Guard allows you to turn your mobile phone into your own personal guard whenever you need some extra protection when you are on your own or feeling vulnerable.

Protect yourself and those close to you by using your mobile phone to send a text message about where you are / what you are doing/ the number plate of the taxi. At the end of the night for example you can send another message in to say you are now ok. If you do not send your 'ok', an emergency message will be sent to your chosen 'guardian', this could be a parent or friend.


Where you are and what you are doing remains confidential unless the emergency message is needed. So you have peace of mind that nobody knows what you are doing or where you are going unless you really need them to.

What does it cost?

Text2Guard costs only 9p + VAT per message sent from the system.

So, if you start a Text2Guard and then cancel it later, the security that could potentially could save your life, will cost only 18p + VAT. (You will receive a confirmation that you have started your Text2Guard and a confirmation that you finished your Text2Guard.)

Any additional messages that are sent e.g. a warning message to say the Text2Guard is about to finish, or the (two) emergency messages that are sent if needed, will each cost an additional 9p + VAT.
